Here's
a lovely little scissor pocket especially designed for those times when
you are looking for 'something small to stitch for a friend'. The latest
of 'The Girls from Oz' limited editions, this little scissor pocket
is designed to house a pair of 3.5" or 4" scissors (we have
matching scissors especially made for this little project). The sentiment
on the back of the pocket reads; 'The road to a friend's house is never
long'. This design was released at Nashville Needlework Market, 8-10
February, 2009. and is available throughout the year until sold out.
The
kit comprises 1 skeins of Dinky Dyes silk, comprehensive design chart
and finishing instructions.
Fabric required: 8" wide x 14" deep of Zweigart 32 count 'Antique
White' Belfast Linen

Scissor Slide
A Collaboration
Something
a bit special!
Jo from Dinky Dyes Threads has dyed a special silk floss and silk ribbon,
Paula from Kelmscott Designs designed the 'Pink Snip Scissors' and I
designed and made the precious little scissor slide to recognise those
who have survived breast cancer. Part proceeds from every sale of 'Pink
Snips' scissors and 'Survive and Thrive' scissor slide kits will be
donated to breast cancer research and education. So, whether you or
your customers have been touched by breast cancer in some way, here
is a lovely way to say 'we have survived and are thriving'.
The kit comprises a skein of specially dyed silk floss and silk ribbon,
a specially chosen 'Goody Bead', charts and comprehensive finishing
instructions.

The fourth
and final design in the Class in a Kit
Seasonal Biscornu Series
This is the
last of the four seasonal biscornus from 'The Girls from Oz' collaboration.
The kit comprising a skein of silk specially created for this project
by Dinky Dyes Threads, and chart and instructions from me. Follow the
comprehensive stitching and finishing instructions and learn how to
sequence overdyed threads and create your very own ‘Fabulous Fall’
tuffet.

house a pair of Gingher’s exclusive design ‘Bianca’
4” embroidery scissors (Item # G-DS44). With pretty butterflies
and delicate flowers stitched in a limited edition Dinky Dye’s
silk, on Mint Green linen this gorgeous little kit will chase away the
drabness of Winter and help you welcome Spring.

the ‘Girls from Oz’ collaborate to bring you a kit comprising
a skein of silk specially created for this project by Dinky Dyes Threads,
chart and instructions from me, and we've included two JABC buttons
to finish it off. Follow
the comprehensive stitching and finishing instructions and learn how
to sequence overdyed threads and create your very own ‘Winter
