Scissor Pocket

Another in the series of Cat's Whiskers ever-popular scissor pockets,
designed to hold a pair of 3 1/2" embroidery scissors.
This design comes as a small booklet, which includes the chart and finishing
instructions. The design calls for a skein of The Thread Gatherer Silk N Colors
'Needle Ny-dle Noo' silk floss, and is completed on 32 count Belfast Linen
'Misty Blue'. I have included an alphabet chart in the booklet so that you
can personalise the pocket should you so wish.

Christmas Ornament 2009

A lovely little 'natural on raw' French-inspired Christmas ornament which will only take a couple of evenings to stitch and construct. The pack includes the stitching chart, comprehensive finishing instructions and a skein of Dinky-Dyes 'natural' silk floss. A wonderful 'starter' project for young stitchers, and an easy project for experienced stitchers looking for a pretty little Christmas gift for a friend.

Doublesided Scissor Slide

I don't do frogging ... I do reverse stitching!
Here's Filbert the Frog on a cute little doublesided scissor slide, to keep you company and look after your scissors until you might need them for a little 'reverse stitching'. The design uses DMC cottons, and will house either a 3.5" or 4" pair of embroidery scissors.

An easy-to-read chart, and comprehensive finishing instructions with lots of helpful diagrams are included in the pamphlet.

Calling All Scissor Addicts!
Now there's a purpose-designed 'scissor roll' to hold all of your precious embroidery scissor collection. Based on the old-fashioned cutlery rolls, this roll holds six pairs of scissors (any combination of 3.5", 4" or 5"). Whilst there are two colourways suggested in the chart, you can choose your own combinations as the design requires only two colours - an overdye and a solid colour. This design uses only full cross stitches on 32 count linen, and the pamphlet comes with comprehensive stitching and finishing instructions. They are fun and easy to stitch, and a great way of keeping your scissors safe and snug.

Twelve little squares which can be made up into either a larger framed piece, or as individual tree ornaments. Pictured here in French inpired blue on platinum, and a slightly more traditional red on khaki geen, the design can be stitched in colours to match your Christmas decor. Using cross stitches and straight stitch, this design will complement both traditional and more modern interiors.
